"Nothing but whispers and white horizons” is the follow up record to Newcastle based post rock outfit Winter Isle’s 2013 record “Eilean”. The record revisits the mythical island of Winter Isle and further explores the geography and the mythology of the island that the first record outlined.

In this chapter of Winter Isle, the band consisted of Jon Aspinall on guitar, Eugene Davies on guitar, violin and keys, Graham Bayne on bass, guitar and electronics and Paul Hawdon on drums. This was recorded in August 2017 by Chris Mcmanus at Blank Studios in Newcastle upon Tyne and mastered by Curtis Anderson in 2020.
